Top Employers Institute proudly announces over 2 300 Top Employers for 2024 across 121 countries and regions. This recognition underscores the commitment of these organisations to fostering outstanding HR strategies and people practices globally. 

As the global authority in recognising excellence in people practices, the Top Employers Institute Certification Programme is an extensive process involving an independently audited and fact-based HR Best Practices Survey and validation to ensure truthful answers. The survey covers six domains and 20 subtopics:  

 In 2023, organisations and leaders had a lot to consider, with many things in a state of flux. David Plink, CEO of Top Employers Institute, observed: “In a world where geopolitical, societal, and macro-economic developments follow each other in rapid succession, the Top Employers 2024 are showing once again that they are a beacon of stability and reliability. Top Employers have shown that despite turbulent times their focus remains on creating the best workplace possible for their people to thrive.”  

Despite these challenges, Top Employers continued to excel in maintaining their commitment to excellent people practices in the workplace. In 2024, the global reach of the Top Employers Certification grew, with over 250 new organisations joining the Top Employers community. The increase of the new Top Employers involved in the programme has affected an additional 3 million lives worldwide, to over 12 million, from 2023 to 2024.  

In 2024, Top Employers Institute has seen the return of the Certification Dinners to celebrate the 2024 Top Employers. The Certification Dinners are a series of worldwide events exclusively for Top Employers to celebrate their remarkable dedication to crafting a better world of work. Alongside the Certification Dinners, there is an online announcement to share people's practices, inspiration, and insights while celebrating the 2024 Top Employers. David Plink concludes, “Together, the class of 2024 leads the way to creating a better world of work. This is a great milestone to celebrate, and this will happen again in person, around the world in 14 locations in early 2024. Congratulations to all Top Employers around the world.”
