Contacting us for our services
Visitors who click the “Get in touch” button on our website, or any similar option to enrol their company in the Top Employers Certification Programme, will provide us with the
following (personal) data. This (personal) data is solely used to contact you and is necessary for provision of our service:
- First name
- Last name
- Job title
- Company name
- Total number of employees globally
- Country
- Focus areas of your role
Job applications
When applying for a position (accessible via the Home > Career tab), you are required to provide certain personal data, including first name, last name, email, phone number, and address, as well as a resume, which may include further details at your discretion. Additional fields are available for supplementary information; however, these are optional and not required for submission. By submitting your application, you declare your consent to the terms outlined in this privacy policy.
Attention: If you provide personal data we did not ask for and do not need, we will delete it as soon as possible.
Cookies
We may also collect some information via cookies, which are small text files stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. - The creation and execution of an agreement with you (such as closing subscriptions, ordering products and/or services, creating a user account);

Job applications
We may process your personal data when you have applied for a job for the following purposes: – Assessing if you are suitable for the job opening;
- Selecting and filling your profile for future job openings that you might be a good fit for;
- Answering questions and providing the information requested by you;
- Ensuring that we keep records of our hiring process as part of our internal management.

Job applications
Regarding the personal data you share through your job application, the relevant human resource management system adheres to strict data security and confidentiality protocols to protect your personal data. These measures include data encryption, restricted access controls, and routine audits to prevent unauthorised access and ensure data integrity. Additionally, the relevant human resource management system also complies with GDPR guidelines to further safeguard your personal data.
Storage of your data
We do not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your personal data is collected. Besides, we discontinue storing your personal data when you withdraw your consent. However, certain personal data may be kept longer if required by law.
Job applications
When you apply for a job at Top Employers Institute, we will store your personal data for six months. However, you can request the deletion of your personal data sooner by emailing hr@top-employers.com.
