About the role
Top Employers Institute is entering an important new phase, evolving its products and technology to better support our clients and future growth.
As Principal Architect, AI Platform, you will play a central role in this evolution by shaping our technical direction and development approach. This is a hands-on role focused on designing and building modern AI-enabled platform and capabilities. You will help drive the adoption of new AI-assisted tools and workflows that improve speed, quality, and impact.
Responsibilities
- Define and own a modern platform foundation that supports rapid prototyping, software delivery, and reliable operation of new products. Capabilities include security, scalability, and integration with the existing Salesforce environment.
- Design and build new AI-enabled client-facing offerings in collaboration with clients, Product organisation and other company stakeholders.
- Lead the evolution of product development practices, introducing AI-assisted tools and workflows that improve development speed, quality, and iteration while maintaining appropriate governance.
- Guide the integration of modern web and AI technologies with legacy platforms, ensuring continuity for clients while enabling incremental adoption of new capabilities.
- Act as a hands-on technical leader, working closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate strategy into executable technical solutions.

Amsterdam area (hybrid) or remote within Europe
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior, hands-on architect or engineer, owning the design and delivery of modern AI-enabled web platforms from concept through production.
- Strong background in modern, AI-assisted software development, including experience using AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining high standards for security, quality, and maintainability.
- Demonstrated experience evolving or modernising legacy systems, including running capabilities across multiple platforms during phased transitions. Experience with Salesforce Platform is a plus.
- Track record of shaping or improving product development processes, enabling faster iteration, clearer decision-making, and closer collaboration between product and engineering.
- Ability to operate across architecture and delivery, translating business and product goals into pragmatic technical solutions.
