Mainstream South Africa is the most successful company in the history of the country’s renewable energy independent power producer procurement programme (REIPPPP), having been awarded over 2.1 GW. To date, we have developed and built 850 MW (gross) of wind and solar generation assets across REIPPPP Rounds 1, 3 and 4. That is equivalent to approximately 15% of the total renewable energy generation capacity delivered under the programme.
