Regional Marketing Manager France & Benelux
Job Summary
As part of our ambitious growth strategy, Top Employers Institute is looking for a driven regional marketing manager to lead our go-to-market marketing execution across the France and Benelux region.
You’ll play a pivotal role in localising global strategies, leading high-performing teams, and leveraging data to drive measurable impact. We are seeking a decisive, growth-oriented leader with proven experience in stakeholder management and market expansion to accelerate success in the French and Benelux markets.
Success will be measured by pipeline growth, campaign ROI, event engagement, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
Regional marketing planning & budgeting
- Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with global campaigns and local commercial goals
- Manage the regional marketing budget with a focus on ROI and pipeline acceleration
- Act as a key regional voice in shaping global-to-local campaign strategies
Lead generation, nurturing and automation
- Collaborate with Campaigns and RevOps teams to execute paid, earned, and owned media campaigns
- Monitor funnel metrics, nurture program performance, and continuously optimise lead quality
- Ensure alignment and transparency between marketing and sales on lead definitions, qualification, and follow-up
Content marketing and Thought Leadership
- Localise centrally produced content to suit regional audiences
- Write and manage content across social media, newsletters, and campaign landing pages
- Foster a culture of social sharing and executive amplification in region
- Regional newsletter programme management and maintenance
- Ensure all deliverables are on-brand and follow our tone of voice
Customer engagement through events and sponsorships
- Lead the execution of physical and digital events in-region, in collaboration with the global events team
- Manage local media and sponsorship partnerships, ensuring performance reviews and spend optimisation
- Own regional content adaptation and distribution for Top Employers Certification campaigns
Stakeholder management
- Collaborate with Sales, Client Success, and Corporate Marketing to ensure alignment and joint planning
- Maintain relationships with key partners, suppliers, and media contacts in-market

Qualification Criteria
- Native English & French language skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing or a related field
- Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role, within B2B
- Familiarity with the markets France, Belgium and The Netherlands
- Experience with marketing automation (eg Pardot, Hubspot, Marketo, Salesforce) and digital campaign management
- Social media management and content creation skills – confident briefing design and writing digital copyPrevious experience with event planning and execution (online and offline)
- Experience in the HR, Consulting, or professional services secotrsis advantageous
- You are data-driven, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment where learning and agility are key.

About this Role
For our France & Benelux region, we are looking for a motivated Commercial Working Student who is fluent in English and French, to join our team at the Amsterdam Headquarters.
In this position, you will play an essential role in supporting both our local Sales teams and the Senior Regional Marketing Manager Northern Europe & Africa. You will contribute to meaningful marketing and commercial activities that impact how we engage with HR leaders across France and Benelux.

What You Will Do
French-Language Communication & Translation Support
- Translate key marketing, sales, and client-facing materials from English to French
- Ensure brand consistency and high-quality communication standards
- Support the creation of localized content for campaigns and events
Event Planning & Coordination
- Assist in the organization of events, webinars, and client sessions in France and Benelux
- Support logistics, supplier communication, and event promotion
- Help ensure a smooth execution and follow-up of each event
Commercial Organization Support
- Support Sales teams with day-to-day coordination
- Follow up on campaign activities and track progress
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and commercial materials
- Collaborate with colleagues across clusters to ensure the best client experience
Who You Are
Must-Haves
- Fluent in business French and English (written & verbal)
- Currently pursuing a Marketing or Commercial education (HBO level)
- Comfortable with MS Office; Excel skills are a plus
- Strong communicator with a positive, collaborative mindset
- A self-starter who enjoys working independently and taking initiative
- Well-organized and able to plan effectively
- Creative and eager to contribute ideas
- Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment

Purpose and contribution to company strategy
The purpose of this role is to ensure our client is highly visible and recognised by its target audience and to support the journey of prospects down the funnel. The successful candidate achieves that through running various top- and mid-funnel activities such as brand awareness and nurture campaigns in collaboration with the marketing and commercial clusters. While doing so, always ensuring marketing efforts/activities are robustly set up, measured and translated into clear insights for the organisation.
Key result areas and main activities
Campaigns & automations
- Setting up and optimising digital campaigns on different channels (with primary focus on social media particularly LinkedIn, search and display)
- Execution of marketing automation related activities such as running automations, segmentations and assignments
- Ensuring correct connection with third party systems whenever relevant as well as correct tracking primarily via Salesforce campaigns
- Executing email nurture programs targeting different personas at different stages of the funnel
Reporting accuracy
- Ensuring accurate data capture and tracking of campaigns on the different online channels as well as in Salesforce based on regional inputs
- Providing a reliable base to Return on Investment calculations by working closely with regional teams, offering day-to-day support on correct data capture and campaign set up
- Reviewing new campaigns holistically—considering the nurture flow, customer journey, and market context—to ensure they align with the overall workflow and tracking approach
Stakeholder management
- Working with central and regional marketing teams to ensure consistent and smooth ways of working and collaborating with the Head of Rev-Ops and Marketing Analytics Manager
- Seeking alignment and input from relevant stakeholders such as sales and proactively sharing results and progress of campaigns

Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience as an online marketeer, preferably with specialisation in marketing automation/lead generation
- Experience with social media advertising (especially LinkedIn) and Google Ads
- Knowledge of A/B testing
- Good knowledge of Salesforce (Sales Cloud) and Account Engagement (Pardot)
- Experience with using third party integrators like Zapier
- Experienced practitioner, independent self-starter
- Intercultural management skills
- Strong verbal and virtual communication skills
- Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
- Place of residence: Europe, more specifically in UK, NL, Germany, France, Belgium, or Spain
