It starts with Certification

The Top Employers Seal is awarded to organisations that achieve Top Employers Certification. Participating organisations complete our HR Best Practices Survey, covering six HR domains and 20 topics. Their responses and supporting evidence are then independently validated against a global standard.

Rigorous: An in-depth assessment of people practices, from strategy and leadership to wellbeing and development.

Independently validated: Responses and supporting evidence are verified by Top Employers Institute to determine Certification status.

A global standard: The same standard for every Certified employer, across 131 countries.

Your Seal shows where you’re Certified: in a country, across a region, globally or across your entire enterprise.

Introducing the Digital Seal

Soon, your Seal will do even more than show you’re Certified. With the Digital Seal, one scan or click takes candidates straight to your enhanced Company Profile on the Top Employers website, where they can see what sets you apart as an employer of choice.

Your employer story, one scan or click away

Showcase your employer brand: Your benefits and perks, photos of your people and a link to your careers site, all in one place.

Reach talent the moment they see your Seal: Turn job ads, careers pages, events and print materials into a direct route to your Company Profile.

Build candidate trust: Show what you offer as an employer alongside your independently validated Certification, on the Top Employers website.

Digital Seal FAQs

What is the Digital Seal?

It’s your Top Employers Seal with a QR code. Anyone who scans or clicks it lands on your enhanced Company Profile on the Top Employers website.

Why should I use it?

Your Seal already shows you’re a Certified Top Employer. The Digital Seal connects that credibility to your employer story, wherever your Seal appears: job ads, your careers site, events or print. And because your profile sits on the Top Employers website, alongside your independently validated Certification, candidates can trust what they see.

What will candidates see on my Company Profile?

– Why work here: your own description of what it’s like to work for you
– Your benefits and perks
– Culture photos of your people
– Links to your careers site and LinkedIn
– Your Certification details and how they were verified

Insight into how your profile performs will follow after launch.

Is there a cost?

No. It’s a free addition to your 2027 Certification.

Do I have to use it?

No, it’s entirely optional.

Does the Digital Seal replace my existing Seal?

No. You can keep using your existing Seal in line with the usual Seal usage guidelines. Once the Digital Seal is available, you can choose where to use it, such as your careers site and job ads.

Will there be a version without a QR code?

Yes. You’ll have access to two versions: with a QR code for your careers site, job ads, print and events, and without for merchandise, email banners and small formats. Physical awards use the version without a QR code.

When will it be available?

We’ll share timings and next steps in the coming weeks.

What can I do now to get ready?

There’s nothing to set up yet, but you can get a head start by gathering:
– A short company description, written for candidates
– Your top perks
– A few real photos of your people at work
– Your careers site and LinkedIn links

Who in my organisation should set it up?

Whoever manages your Branding tab in the Top Employers portal, usually your employer brand or communications team.

Who can I contact with questions?

Your Account Manager is happy to help.
