Top Employers Institute works with nearly 2,500 organisations worldwide through Certification, benchmarking and insights to demonstrate the impact of HR on business performance.
This is our first Sustainability Report. It sets out how we are applying the same level of rigour to our own organisation, with a clear view of where we are today and how our approach will continue to develop.
Our greatest impact is social. Through our Certification and insights, we influence the working lives of more than 14 million employees across 131 countries and regions. That reach creates a responsibility to act with transparency, consistency and accountability in how we operate.
That influence is also recognised externally. Today, 24% of our 100 largest clients reference Top Employers Certification within their own sustainability reporting. This reflects the growing role of people practices in ESG performance and organisational credibility.

Inclusion is embedded through formal structures and everyday practice
Two Employee Resource Groups, focused on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and on Parents, create space for dialogue, peer support and shared learning, with each employee-led group being active in shaping the inclusion agenda. In South Africa, an Employment Equity Committee oversees progress on fair treatment and equal opportunity in line with local regulation.
