Operations Coordinator - Amsterdam based



Purpose and contribution to company strategy

The Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Certification Operations Team and operational functions of our company. This role works closely with various teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of the certification programme, while also contributing to process improvement initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual who is eager to learn within a fast-paced and international environment.

 

 Key result areas and main activities

 

 Coordination and Support:

1.    Assist in the coordination of day-to-day operational activities.

2.    Provide administrative support to the Certification Operations and Program Management team as needed, including document preparation, data entry and report generation.

3.    Act as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders facilitating communication and ensuring alignment on project objectives.

 

 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data

1.    Support with cleaning and maintaining accurate data into the CRM system to ensure that the organisation has quality data to enable effective operational activities.

 

Communication and Collaboration:

1.    Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure clear understanding of project requirements, timelines and deliverables.

2.    Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and customer-focus culture.

3.    Serve as a liaison between the Certification Operations team and other departments and Certification Community colleagues to facilitate

       information sharing and problem resolution.

 

Technology Utilization:

1.    Utilize various software and technology platforms to support operational activities, including CRM systems (Salesforce) and Communication platforms (Teams).

2.    Provide training and support to Certification Community members on the use of technology tools and systems.

1.    Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to  mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.

Qualification criteria

 

  1. Bachelor degree or equivalent required; associate's degree or relevant certification in business administration, operations management, or a related field is a plus.
  2. 1 year of experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably in a professional office environment.
  3. Basic understanding of office procedures and familiarity with standard office equipment.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and willingness to learn new software applications.
  5. Exposure to data entry tasks and basic report generation.
  6. Experience in customer service or working in a team-oriented environment is advantageous.
  7. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  8. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)  with the ability to communicate professionally with team members and stakeholders.
  10. Demonstrated commitment to learning and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
  11. Residing in the Netherlands.
