Head of Regional Marketing

Head of Regional Marketing is a global role, responsible for providing leadership, consistent implementation of the strategy, maintaining alignment and overseeing the daily operations of marketing team in support of global marketing initiatives.

The successful candidate will report to the CMO and will be part of the Global Marketing Leadership Team. The role has 10 direct reports across the globe and the team will be growing going forward.

Key result areas and main activities

  • Lead the Regional Marketing team that focuses on long-term success, customer experience and engagement, brand presence and business growth
  • Maintain and develop a high performing marketing team including hiring and developing talent
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achive objectives ensuring marketing plans and progress remain visible to all
  • Track and report marketing activations & events and identify mechanisms to collect local and customer data to feed into the marketing leadership team
  • Management and maintanence of regional marketing budget
  • Share and execute on best practices across the marketing team that they become global practices

Qualification Criteria:

  • 10+ years B2B marketing management experience
  • 5+ people management experience, ability to work with remote teams
  • Experience in hiring, onboarding and developing people
  • Experience in working with different cultures
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment between different clusters
  • Strong organisational development and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor degree
  • Proficient in English
  • Residing in Europe, willing to travel to Amsterdam monthly
