The Digital Team at Top Employers Institute is responsible for the development and support of the digital platforms which includes Salesforce Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud (Portal), Pardot, and CRM Analytics. These digital platforms support the core business processes for Marketing, Sales, Operations (Certifications) and Finance, and provide our clients with access to the survey, analytical insights, best practices and our website.


The Digital Team is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing Salesforce applications and integrations to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will work closely with developers, functional consultants, Product Owner, and other stakeholders to validate functionality, usability, and performance. You report to the Salesforce Architect and work closely with other members of the Digital scrum team, a fun team with skilled people from various nations.


Duties & Responsibilities 

•    Analyse business requirements and technical specifications to create detailed test cases.
•    Works with the developers, product owners, and other team members to ensure quality deliverables. 
•    Actively contributes in sprint ceremonies: refinements, planning, reviews and retrospectives.
•    Delivers concise documentation of test results.
•    Exchanges knowledge and ideas with other team members.
•    Help us setup test automation tools to make Salesforce testing more efficient

     Key result areas and main activities


•    Perform testing of Salesforce applications, including community cloud, and integrations.
•    Execute test cases and document results, defects, and issues using tools like Jira and Confluence.
•    Conduct regression, functional, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
•    Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
•    Setup automation testing platform and tool
•    Stays informed on and shares knowledge about the testing techniques, platform and automation.
•    Pro-actively reaches out to colleagues to understand company goals, delivery processes, business processes, existing implementations, etc.

Qualification Criteria


•    Fluent in English (written & verbal), other languages are plus.
•    Good communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
•    Experience with working in an international organization
•    4+ years’ experience with hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications including integrations
•    Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
•    Good functional understanding of the Salesforce platform.
•    Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
•    Experience with automation tools compatible with Salesforce like Selenium is a plus
•    Knowledge of SOQL
