Job Purpose

  • Grow our brand awareness and recognition amongst HR leaders and employees
  • Liaise and work closely with the HQ Marketing function, aligned to the global marketing strategy, strategy, implementing the relevant campaigns/tactics.
  • Additional scope to work on global marketing projects.
  • Brand management using our various touch points i.e. social media platforms, email marketing and official customer communications and engagement etc.
  • Ensure our use of marketing material is up to date and consistent with the global brand guidelines and positioning.
  • Manage and engage with the company’s online community (globally) in order to build and increase brand awareness and loyalty through the newly built community portal.

Job Activities

Customer Communications:

  • Consistent execution of value messaging for all participants in the region across all touch points with customer testimonials, case studies etc (based on input from region and direction from central marketing).
  • Creation of customer marketing deliverables ensuring employer branding materials are relevant, fresh and used throughout the year

Certification Dinner Communications & PR:

  • Manage and drive media (PR), social media and Top Employers engagement aligned with the annual Certification announcement and dinner.
  • Manage the production and create content for the Top Employers Certification announcement across our different media partners.
  • Manage and expand media partnerships for the African Certification Programme.

Content marketing:

  • Content Management on our digital platforms: Create and curate content i.e. HR Best Practice and Trends Reports, Top Employers eBook, Top Employers testimonial videos etc.
  • Effective usage of analytics for monitoring & reporting purposes.

Lead Generation, Nurturing and Automation:

  • Manage and execute African LinkedIn advertising and lead nurturing campaigns to support our commercial efforts: create and curate content.
  • Effective usage of analytics for monitoring & reporting purposes.

Marketing Strategy (collaborate with central marketing):

  • Implement marketing strategy and effectively manage the budget (optimise budget for best performing channels through analytics and metrics).
  • Conduct regular market research including competitor analysis

Community Building and Platform Management:

  • Moderate online conversations within community portal, develop the community through content and keep the conversations live.
  • Work with content marketing to create engaging content for the platform
  • Organise and participate in events to build the community and boost brand awareness – keep the community alive and develop relationships
  • Answer questions, comments, and customer queries in a timely manner, getting information from other departments when required and relay community feedback to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with digital technology trends
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs

Qualification Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Power Point, Excel & Word
  • English first language (fluent)
  • 5+ years marketing management experience
  • Content marketing experience (copywriting)
  • Digital marketing experience (channel optimisation using web analytics – google analytics, data studio, tag manager), Pardot and Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Basic design skills and knowledge
  • Residing in Cape Town
