Known for the freshness of its fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, and baked goods, IKI opened its first store in Lithuania in 1992 and has consistently invested in creating an even better experience for shoppers – making their visits smoother, faster, and more convenient.
For more than 30 years in Lithuania, IKI has been steadily introducing innovations to the country’s retail market: it was the first to bake fresh croissants and French baguettes in stores, opened the first autonomous stores in the Baltic region and offered customers a completely new way to shop. Together with LastMile in Vilnius, IKI also tested a new era of delivery – orders were delivered by autonomous vehicles.
With more than 250 stores across Lithuania, IKI is one of the largest retail chains in the country. Rapid expansion, efficiency projects, well-planned sales strategies, and strong marketing campaigns allow the company to achieve solid financial results year after year.
The retail chain employs around 5,500 people and is among the largest employers in Lithuania.
