Live Events Specialist (Hired)

Purpose and contribution to company strategy 

The purpose of this role is to support Head of Events and Partnerships to execute on the Events strategy by producing international live events and managing branding, tooling and content for Connect events and sponsorships.

This role is also responsible for supporting the creation, interaction and maintenance of the online Top Employers community.

This role supports the strategic objective ‘focus on the customer’ and ensures customer experience is harmonised through continental and regional events.

Key result areas and main activities

1. Production of live events for the Certification Celebration in focus markets

• Production of toolkits for local celebration events
• Production of celebration events
• Tooling for registration, interaction and engagement to improve the experience and make this available for Certification Celebration and seminars /webinars
• Support the production of seminar series including speaker management, project management of panels, travel arrangements for speakers, on site branding, tooling and communication prior to, during and after the seminars

2. Support successful execution of Connect events
• Continuously update the event toolkit with the way of working, branding and tooling for Connect events
• Work closely together with global sales and reginal marketing to produce Connect events in focus markets
• Produce content and communication plans, in close contact with content leadership team for Connect events in focus markets – ensure this is in-line with global content calendar

3. Support optimisation of Sponsorships - Support Head of Events in defining and producing 4-5 global event partnerships
• Make sure communication around sponsorships are on brand and make tooling available for inspiring workshops and presentations during the sponsored event
• Define speakers together with internal stakeholders
• Speaker management
• Produce speaker briefings and work on interesting content for presentations and workshops during sponsorships

4. Make event strategy and SharePoint (for events marketing) come to live
• Make sure all markets use the events strategy and tools for planning and reporting their events and partnerships
• Support with quarterly reporting for events & partnerships

5. Bringing alive the Top Employers community in the Top Employers Portal
• Be part of the team that will be building the community in the Top Employers Portal
• Make sure the connect value pillar and all communication around it is on brand

• Higher Vocational Education or equivalent
• 5 – 8 experience as Event producer, Event manager
• Experience with production of complex global and international events
• Looking for a creative and structured connector
• Experienced practitioner, independent self-starter
• Intercultural management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced English, one other language preferred
• Place of residence: preferably in or near Amsterdam
