Legal Assistant (16 Hours)

As a Legal Assistant at Top Employers Institute, you will provide essential support to our legal team, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the department. You will be responsible for assisting with a variety of legal tasks, managing documentation, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a multitasker, possesses strong organizational and communication skills, and is excited to get started and learn everything around a corporate legal function.


  1. Document Management - Organise and maintain legal documents, contract and records. Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents and join contract negotiations.
  2. Corporate Governance-  Support corporate governance matters including (but not limited to) corporate housekeeping activities.
  3. Vendor Due Diligence- Collaborate with new and/or existing clients in terms of vendor due diligence, answering questions around various topics that are important to the client, including cyber, privacy and ownership.
  4. Training and Education- Prepare legal training and guidance to internal teams on relevant legal topics. Develop educational materials to enhance legal awareness across the organisation.
  5. Internal Communication - Come up with creative ideas on how to enhance the position of legal within the organisation. Work on an internal communication channel and strategy for the legal department.
  6. Legal Support- Support the legal team where necessary in a wide variety of subjects and disputes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in law from an accredited institution.
  • Excellent spoken and written (business) English skills; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Stress resistance: maintains control in complex cases and projects.
