Global 2017 Certification Dinner

At this prestigious annual business event in honour of the achievements of HR, we certify organisations with excellent employee conditions; celebrating all Top Employers in Europe and the Middle East and presenting the Top Employers Global 2017.

Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam

The Beurs van Berlage is situated in the very heart of Amsterdam. As one of the most important and famous buildings in Amsterdam, it is known for its architecture, but it also has a very interesting history. In 2002 it was the venue for the civil wedding ceremony between King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima.

Designed as a commodity exchange by architect Hendrik Petrus Berlage and constructed between 1896 and 1903, it has influenced many modernist architects. The building is constructed of red brick, with an iron and glass roof and stone piers, lintels and corbels. Its entrance is under a 40-metre high clock tower, while inside lie three large multi-storey halls formerly used as trading floors, with function rooms and further facilities grouped around them.

On 28th February 2017, it also hosted the Top Employers Global Certification Dinner: A celebration evening at which the successfully certified organisations were presented with their well-earned awards.
