BAT is a leading consumer goods business, established in 1902 whose purpose is to build A Better Tomorrow by reducing the health impact of its business through offering a greater choice of enjoyable and less risky products for their adult consumers. The company has recently announced a target of increasing the number of its non-combustible product consumers from 11 million to 50 million by 2030; and to achieve at least £5 billion in New Categories revenues in by 2025.
To do this, the company will invest £1 billion over the next three years to promote the new category of products with lower potential risk.
BAT employs more than 53,000 people around the world and operates in more than 180 countries, with factories in 43. In Iberia, the company is established since 1990 and count with a diverse workforce of 240 employees and an extensive sales network distributed throughout the country. The company's strategic portfolio consists of its global cigarette brands and a growing range of potentially low-risk products. These include vapour products, like Vype, tobacco heating products, such as glo™, available in Spain for a few months, as well as modern oral products that include tobacco-free nicotine pouches and snus.
