Head of Marketing Operations (Hired)

Head of Marketing Operations role is a global role, responsible for managing the marketing planning process, project management of strategic initiatives, performance and optimisation of the marketing department’s effectiveness for delivering business results. This role will start with one direct report.

The successful candidate will report to the CMO and provide additional support to the marketing leadership team.

Key result areas and main activities

  • Ownership of the marketing planning process by partnering with the Marketing leadership team to create and execute on the global marketing plans incorporated with local market input
  • Define the key strategic marketing initiatives and maintain project management process
  • Definition and automation of marketing processes & campaigns through the selection of best tools and streamlining and maintanence of them (i.e Pardot)
  • Management of clean customer database and optimization partnering with Digital team to improve gaps
  • Implement and optimize lead scoring and lead journey tracking working with Revenue Operations and Digital teams
  • Provide leadership and support to campaign planning and execution process through testing, optimization and efficiency gains in channels and platforms (LI, google analytics)
  • Develop, optimize and report on campaigns through dashboards, tracking and ROI calculations (i.e paid, organic, nurturing programmes etc)
  • End responsible for marketing reporting on KPIs for better business results, develop performance dashboards using data from SFDC, Pardot, Google Analytics
  • Managing vendor relationships through identifying, selecting and maintaining most effective marketing tools
  • Drive alignment between sales, operations and marketing on joint metrics and define workflows and create process maps for better operational collaboration
  • 8+ years marketing operations experience in a B2B environment
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Understanding of marketing technology and reporting
  • Experience in managing marketing automation platforms (Pardot preferred), Salesforce experience is a plus and ABM programmes
  • Experience in database management (i.e accounts, contacts and leads)
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment between different clusters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • People managerial skills
  • Bachelor degree
  • Proficient in English
  • Residing in Europe, willing to travel to Amsterdam monthly
