SMAT manages the integrated water service of the Metropolitan Area of Turin for over 2 million residents in 292 Member Municipalities, ensuring high standards of service and technological innovation. During 2023, SMAT and its staff supplied 165 million m³ of water through 13,161 km of water network, over 10,000 km of sewerage network and 368 sewage treatment plants including the largest in Italy.
