MTU Aero Engines Polska is an affiliate of MTU Aero Engines AG, Germany's leading engine manufacturer and an established global player in the industry. The facility began operations in April 2009 in Tajęcina near Rzeszów-Jasionka the capital of Polish Aviation Valley. MTU Aero Engines Polska employees more than 500 highly qualified staff and its scope of activities now includes research and development as well as production of world’s best engine components, low-pressure turbine assembly and engine parts repair. In 2013, MTU Aero Engines Polska has started expanding its facility, production is expected to run at full capacity in 2017.
