About Istituto Europeo di Oncologia

L’Istituto Europeo di Oncologia, nato da un'idea del Professor Umberto Veronesi e inaugurato nel 1994, rappresenta a livello internazionale un modello innovativo di sanità e ricerca avanzata nel campo dell'oncologia. In applicazione degli standard di qualità previsti da Joint Commission International, l'Istituto ha realizzato al suo interno la completa integrazione tra le diverse attività di lotta ai tumori: prevenzione e diagnosi, educazione sanitaria e formazione, ricerca e cura.
