About Consum

Consum is the biggest cooperative in the Mediterranean arch. It has more than 650 supermarkets, counting its own shops and franchises, spread over Catalonia, the Valencian Community, Murcia, Castile-La Mancha, Andalusia and Aragon. It invoices around 2.000 million euros and has a staff over 12.000 workers. Some outstanding features of its Personnel Policy are the creation of stable and quality jobs, and investment in training. Around 100% of the staff are members entitled to take part in the cooperative’s management and share its profits. Consum is the only distribution company with the Family-Responsible Business Certificate (Efr).
